Nolinear Optical Beta-Barium Borate BBO Crystal

Beta-Barium Borate ( β-BaB2O4 or BBO) crystal combines high damage threshold, high optical homogeneity, good optical, electronic, chemical and mechanical properties, which can realize the phase matching over a wide spetral range from 410 to 3500nm, especially efficient SHG output up to deep ultraviolet wavelength 213nm. Optical Crystal BBO Fourth Harmonic Generation 1064nm is 266nm. BBO Crystal is a great choice for EO Q-Switches of high power high repetition rate lasers, and also second, third, fourth harmonic generation of Dye, Ti: Sapphire and Nd laser, besides, NLO Crystals BaB2O4 BBO Crystals is often used in OPA and OPO applications.

BBO has a low susceptibility to moisture, and users are advised to provide dry conditions for both use and preservation of BBO. When angle adjusting is necessary, keep in mind that the acceptance angle of BBO is small.
