It randomly polarized beams into two orthogonal, linearly, polarized components. S-polarized light is reflected at a 90 degree angle while P-polarized light is transmitted. The PBS cube can be used as a polarizer, beam splitter or beam combiners in Polarizing Optic field. The output beam which is parallel to input beam is called p-polarized beam while the orthogonal output beam is defined as s-polarized beam.
